Corn fermented protein (CFP), produced by Green Plains, was engineered and created to respond to the growing global demand for high-quality, sustainable and traceable plant protein. CFP is derived from a fermentation process and functional characteristics are derived from the spent yeast components. CFP is generated by the Maximized Stillage Co-productTM process, which is mechanical separation of whole stillage without the use of any processing aids, additives or flocculants. Gently drying the protein in a ring dryer maintains high digestibility and quality. CFP has been extensively and successfully tested in feed formulations for aquaculture, swine, poultry, ruminants and pets.
