Reagan-Udall Foundation Extends Comment Period Until December 31st
The Reagan-Udall Foundation for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is leading an initiative to identify holistic approaches to address opportunities and challenges in animal health and veterinary medicine.
The Foundation has convened an Expert Panel to conduct this work, and the FDA will use this analysis to help CVM identify areas where new or adapted regulatory approaches may be needed to accommodate innovative solutions.
The Panel welcomes input from a variety of stakeholder perspectives: other U.S./State/Local government agencies, animal food and drug industries, public health organizations, non-governmental groups, as well as the end users of FDA’s regulated products (farmers, ranchers, pet owners, zoos, and veterinarians).
Input provided by December 31, 2024, will be considered as part of the Panel’s deliberations.
The National Aquaculture Association submitted extensive comments on November 15th. We encourage you to participate in this opportunity to effectuate change within FDA.
